Susquehanna Valley Railway Historical Society & Sayre Historical Society-Museum has scheduled a major event:  Lehigh Valley Railroad History Symposium for Saturday, October 25, 2025.  

Making this event even more exciting, it will be done/shown at the Sayre (PA) Historic Theatre...built in 1914.  It started out in the early years as a Opera House and over the years was transferred over as a theatre ... with all the amenities of stepping back in time with the high ceiling, chandeliers, and more. Event programs will be projected thru the Theatre's digital projection system onto the big movie screen, and sound will be the Theatre's sound system.
