RE: Notice of Annual Meeting and Proposed By-Law Revisions

The Board of Directors has designated the June 12, 2024 meeting as the Annual Meeting of the Anthracite Railroads Historical Society. This meeting will be held at the Quakertown Train Station in Quakertown, PA and electronically via Zoom.
The June 12th meeting will include a vote by the membership on proposed revisions to the Society’s By-Laws. Attached to this memo is a copy of the current By-Laws where the proposed revisions are presented in blue type, and proposed deletions are shown in red type. Additionally, the “Basis and Ballot” is attached. The Basis presents proposed revision to each section of the By-Laws where a change is proposed. The Ballot is for a member to submit a paper vote.
Voting will commence on June 12, 2024 and close at 5 pm on June 21, 2024.
Provisions are being made to vote electronically as well as by mail and in-person at Quakertown.
You may vote only once.
Voting requires you to provide your membership number. Check the FD&S you will shortly receive.
