Members are encouraged to contact Olev Taremae or an ARHS Board Member to present their programs or contacts of people who can present programs related to Anthracite Railroads, e.g., slides, films, videos, DVD’s, or digital programs, or visits to model railroads, as programs are continually needed.
Shake off the snow on your boots, Dave Augsburger will again dip into his slide collection to show us the East Penn Line.
Dale Woodland will make a presentation about his favorite railroad, the Reading. The program will focus on F units.
Not all Anthracite carrying railroads are in eastern Pennsylvania. Robert Phillips will share a program he has developed about railroads built to carry anthracite coal in Alaska.
Some Reading Memories is the title of the Paul Kutta program.
Kenneth Bealer will present a program entitle 52 Years of Railroad Photography from 1966 to the Present. Kenneth was an employee of the Lehigh Valley Railroad and Conrail. His pictures have graced the pages of books about the Lehigh Valley Railroad and other Anthracite Railroads.
Richard Jahn will present a program of slides taken by the late Walter Shopp. Walter was a lifelong enthusiastic rail fan and photographer who travelled widely.

Gary Pancavage will present what is sure to be a fascinating program about Amtrak’s Acela trains. Gary knows his subject as he recently retired from his position in charge of Acela maintenance.
Tom Nemeth returns. His program features beautifully photographed coverage of Anthracite Railroads. Program specifics to be announced.
The late Richard Samsel was a long-time ARHS member. While Richard is no longer be with us, we can remember him by viewing a slide program that he had assembled.
