Meeting Entertainment
Members are encouraged to contact ARHS Officers or Board Members to present their programs or contacts of people who can present programs related to Anthracite Railroads, e.g., slides, films, videos, DVD’s, or digital programs, or visits to model railroads, as programs are needed for the second half of 2010 and 2011. We need your presentations and ideas – please contact John Gabriel or any Officer, or Board Member – thanks.

Second Friday of each month at 7:30 PM (Unless changed due to unavailability of meeting site).
Where:
Until further notice the 2009 Members Meetings are planned to be held at the Quakertown Train Station Historical Society site at Front and Broad Streets, Quakertown, Pa. (due to the unavailability of Zwingli Church in Souderton, Pa. because of the 2008 fire).What:
August 2010 - there will be no members meeting.
September 17, 2010 (Note - Meeting is rescheduled to the 3rd Friday due to the unavailability of the Quakertown Station on September 10th)
Member Steve Stewart will present his slide program, "The Lehigh Valley Railroad in New York State".

Member Carl Frederick will present his slide program, "Reading Company Bethlehem Branch Operations in the 1960 - 1970 era".

Member Dale Woodland will present his digital program, "Trolleys Of The Liberty Bell Route" which shows photos of the high speed interurban cars, maps, and timetables of the famed Liberty Bell Limited Route of the Lehigh Valley Transit's Philadelphia Division which operated from Allentown to Norristown, PA from 1898 to 1951.
December 10, 2010
Member Rich Jahn will present a digital program showing railroad photos from the ARHS Archives.
Inclement Weather Notice:
In the event that it is necessary to cancel a Members Meeting due to inclement weather, an announcement will be made during the afternoon and early evening before the meeting on the local AM radio station – WNPV AM 1440 (a Lansdale, Pa. radio station).
